2+2 Degree Program
The 2+2 degree program is a model used to attain a bachelor’s degree by attending the first two years at a community college for an Associate of Arts or Science (AA/AS) degree and then transferring to a four-year university for a bachelor's degree. Students earn two degrees – AA/AS degree + BA/BS degree – at a fraction of the cost. After having completed Santa Ana College’s AA/AS degree program and meeting the transfer requirements, students can make an easier transition to complete a bachelor’s degree at the University of California’s ten universities including UC Irvine, UC Los Angeles, UC Berkeley; or, at the California State University’s twenty-three universities including CSU Fullerton, CSU Long Beach; as well as Stanford University and many other top colleges and universities across the United States.
International Student Programs and Services
The International Student Program provides a full range of programs and services to help international students adjust culturally and academically to life in the United States, thus, making Santa Ana College a home away from home. Services include assistance with admissions and registration, and providing programs, workshops, individual support and guidance for living and studying in the USA. The ISP office also connects students to other student services on campus, such as the Career Center, which supports professional development, service-learning, and volunteering experiences in our local community.
Student Life
Students can participate in a wide variety of clubs, service organizations, and student government, as well as compete in sports. There is a rich and vibrant student community here, with many ways to become active and build your network here in the US! The International Student Association (ISA) is one of the most exciting student organizations on campus. The ISA promotes cross-cultural exchanges that provide the basis for long-lasting friendships. Barbecues, beach parties, dances, out-of-town trips, and cultural highlights such as the annual International Festival and International Education Week are just some of the many activities held throughout the year.
